Event Concludes Nationwide Tour Shining a Light on GOP Tax Plan That Raises Taxes on Millions of Middle-Class Families

WASHINGTON, D.C. — On Tax Day, Tuesday, April 17, Tax March and Not One Penny will host an event at the Capitol to call on Congress to Repeal the TrumpTax. Leader Schumer and Leader Pelosi, alongside their colleagues in the Senate and House, will discuss the disastrous impact the TrumpTax is having on middle-class families, and will demand that Republicans give not one penny in tax cuts for millionaires, billionaires, and wealthy corporations.

This year’s Tax Day will also mark the end of a 100-day Repeal the TrumpTax Tour, during which events were held in more than 40 cities across 20 states with elected officials, community leaders, and grassroots activists. Throughout the weekend of April 14, Tax March and Not One Penny, alongside progressive partners and grassroots organizations, are hosting over 100 events and marches nationwide to call on Congress to repeal the TrumpTax.
