Cedar Rapids, IA — On Monday, Not One Penny released two new ads calling on Iowans to demand that Representatives Rod Blum (IA-01) and David Young (IA-03) repeal President Trump’s destructive tax bill that both lawmakers supported. The TrumpTax raises taxes for middle-class Iowa families and cuts health care for 13 million people — all while lining the pockets of millionaires, billionaires, and wealthy corporations.
The new ads, airing in Cedar Rapids and Des Moines, feature local nurse Arianne describing how Reps. Blum and Young voted for a bill that allows wealthy corporations to profit at the expense of everyday Americans — including her own family. Arianne urges her fellow Iowans to demand that Blum and Young repeal the partisan plan that gives 83 percent of the tax breaks to the top 1 percent.
