Bangor, ME — This week, after House Republicans voted to give massive tax cuts to the wealthy and well-connected at the expense of working families, Not One Penny released a new ad targeting Congressman Bruce Poliquin for voting to raise taxes on Mainers. The new ad, which is part of a new seven-figure campaign targeting Republicans across the country, will air in markets across Maine to urge his constituents to hold him accountable for his vote to increase taxes on middle-class families, eliminate tax deductions that help veterans, and cut critical funding for health care.

“When Bruce Poliquin cast his vote to pass Republicans’ tax bill, he chose to vote against the interests of his constituents to give tax breaks to millionaires, billionaires, and big corporations,” said Nicole Gill, Executive Director of Tax March. “This is just another example of how Poliquin and his Republican colleagues continue to rig the system in favor of the wealthy at the expense of hardworking Mainers. He must listen to the people he represents and oppose Republicans’ disastrous tax bill.”
