NEW AD: Not One Penny Campaign Demands Senator Heller Vote Against Tax Cuts for the Wealthy at the Expense of Working Nevadans

Republican Tax Plan Raises Taxes on the Middle Class, Cuts Critical Affordable Health Care

Reno, NV — As Republicans double down on their efforts to give massive tax cuts to the wealthy and well-connected at the expense of working families, Not One Penny has released a new ad demanding that Senator Dean Heller oppose legislation that raises taxes on middle-class Nevadans. The ad, which is part of a national seven-figure ad campaign, will air across the Silver State and show how 161,460 working Nevadans can expect a $1,000 tax hike while the wealthiest Americans get a $109,140 tax break.

“Senator Heller voted to strip thousands of Nevadans of their health care earlier this year, and if he supports the GOP tax plan, he will put the well-being and financial security of his constituents at risk once again,” said Spokesman for Not One Penny Tim Hogan. “Nevadans should not be forced to pay higher taxes to line the pockets of millionaires, billionaires, and wealthy corporations. Senator Heller should listen to his constituents, not the demands of lobbyists or his rich campaign donors, and vote against this bill. ”
